Something for the FIFA Worldcup 2006?

The device simple sends a signal and beeps and vibrates. They call it the "Dick Tracy watch".
The device, based on the common pager, costs about $1300 and has been developed by a Sydney electronics company, on specifications created by Netball Australia (I guess you think it's expensive, right? Me too until I saw that they produce it in very limited numbers and developed it from the scratch.)
As in Australian football, a netball match is officially ended on the umpire's whistle rather than a final siren. ... All parties are confident it could be adapted for all sports, including AFL.
Australian netball is ready to cooperate with football (soccer). Will the FIFA answer?
